Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain shell scripts to automate various processes and tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve scripting issues in a timely manner.
Optimize existing scripts for performance and efficiency.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Document processes and scripts for future reference.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in shell scripting (Bash, KornShell, etc.).
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
Experience with automation tools and techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
