Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement mobile applications for Android platforms using Kotlin programming language.
· Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
· Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
· Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
· Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability and optimal performance.
· Work closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and assist in resolving issues identified during testing.
· Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
· 3-5 years of proven experience in mobile application development for Android using Kotlin.
· Must have worked minimum 1 year on Kotlin.
· Strong hands on experience with Android architecture components
· Should be able to develop custom components
· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect android applications to back-end services
· Experience in Continuous integration tools like Jenkins / Bamboo with Git
· Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
